Based on Freescale i.MX53 platform, this new module features the industry leading ARM Cortex-A8 core at clock frequencies up to 1.2GHz. This module supports up to 1080p Full HD multi-standard HW accelerated video playback, with dual display support, enhanced 2D and 3D graphics acceleration capabilities enabling rich and responsive user interfaces while offering very low power consumptions. ElettronicaGF i.MX53 SOM modules are designed to reduce time to market and carrier board BOM costs. Despite being very small, all common required peripherals are already integrated on module, such as: – up to 1GB DDR3 RAM – embedded Flash / eMMC /  microSD memory – 10/100 LAN – LVDS / parallel / VGA video outputs – SDIO,I2C,SPI bus – USB OTG, USB HS/FS/LS ports – JTAG debug connector In order to extremely simplifying baseboard development and product industrialization, all 3SM2000 series SOM modules have a single +5 V power supply input Elettronica GF iMX53 SOM modules support Linux operating systems.
